My Involvement

There are various things that you can do to help improve diabetes care for yourself and others, you can:

• Get involved with diabetes research - sign up to the Scottish Diabetes Research Network research register. Have a look at their patient testimonials to find out what participating in research involves.
  
  
• Volunteer to be a Buddy - you will find information on schemes in your area through the links provided in my local services.
  
  
• Support Diabetes UK.
  
  
• Get involved with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
