My Diabetes My Way: August 2023 Update

Welcome to the My Diabetes My Way Newsletter for September 2023.

Scotland’s Digital Health and Care Strategy
The Scottish Government has recently published a revision to its Digital Health and Care Strategy. The “Care in the Digital Age: Delivery Plan 2023-24” was updated in August 2023 and outlines strategic objectives for the coming months. My Diabetes My Way has been referenced under “Priority One: People have digital access to information, their own data and services which support their health and wellbeing, wherever they are”. As part of the commitment, the Scottish Government are reviewing the service and considering options to ensure its sustainability. We welcome this process and the support we are receiving from our colleagues in Digital Health.
